It didn't use to be this way. In fact, for years Trust My News could not get off the ground, its development bogged down by financial scandal and reckless journalism. Finally in 2012, we put our act together and launched TrustMyNews.com.
Trust My News brings the world breaking stories exclusively over the web. Some may be skeptical that a news organization uses the internet as its only outlet, but we at Trust My News have no other choice. To say the least, television networks did not receive us well. But what would have certainly devastated other organizations has given us a great advantage. We believe in the power of the internet and embrace this cyber world that knows no bounds. We can really get away with a lot more than those other guys, and we are dedicated to doing so.
From entertainment news, to politics, to sports, Trust My News has it all.

Meet The Trust My News Team
Tom Savarino
Founder, President, and Editor-in-chief
Tom Savarino was born and raised in Florida and has always followed his father's mantra: "If you're not sure, just B.S. it." Doing so paid off, and now Savarino is running Trust My News, America's Number One Choice For News.*
Phong Nguyen
Junior Editor, Social Media Director, Senior Writer
Nguyen is a long-time friend of Savarino's, and his name was one of the first to come to mind when assembling an all-star line-up for his news agency. Nguyen's dedication to the profession is unparalleled. In fact, he's been known to work non-stop until the wee hours of the morning to break the biggest stories before anyone else.
Beat Writer
After being terminated from the New York Post for insubordination, Esposito left his old life and unpaid debts behind to make a brand new start in Florida. In a chance encounter at an Orlando pub, Esposito impressed Mr. Savarino, who at that time was in the process of launching Trust My News. Esposito was hired on the spot and has never looked back.
Justin Phan
Chief Environmental Affairs Correspondent
Phan was born and raised in Southern California and quickly turned to nature as his place of solace. Early on, he was inspired by Henry David Thoreau, following in his footsteps by removing himself from the luxuries of American civilization. After spending 2 years at a KOA campground, Phan graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Environmental Science. Although he has been arrested several times for environmental activism, Trust My News was willing to overlook his legal troubles in favor of Phan's knowledge and experience.
Dave O'Brien
Chief Political Correspondent
O'Brien graduated from Harvard in 2006, but decided he wanted to do more with his life than just practice law. He found his calling when he landed this key position on the Trust My News team. Now O'Brien sits at a cubicle at Trust My News Headquarters, absolutely certain that he made the right career choice. Make sure to follow his comprehensive coverage of the 2012 Presidential election.
Butch Haskins
Senior Writer
Haskins is as tough as they come. He's been at it for years, doing the dirty work no one else will to get the hottest breaking story to print. At Trust My News Haskins does it all. One day he may be hounding government officials to get answers, and another he could be beating on the doors of random homes looking for any story he can. The man is relentless. When Haskins is knocking at your door, there's no stopping him.
Ricky Davis
Entertainment Correspondent
Davis is a musician first and foremost. His life before Trust My News consisted of late-night gigs at local bars and excessive drug abuse that reached dangerous levels. For 5 years Davis was the drummer for the garage band Krack Pipe Kids, but left the group after seeing little improvement in their success and an irreparable feud with the lead guitarist. Davis turned to writing, and his blog was quickly noticed by Trust My News. His knowledge of music and the entertainment industry is second to none.
Sports Editor
Mitchell comes from a small town in Connecticut where he grew up loving only one thing: sports. Friends around town came to know him as 'Roudy Ross' after countless incidents at the local sports bar in which he would cause significant property damage, whether his team won or lost. If you know what's good for you, don't question Mitchell's fandom.
